Job Description
A Data Scientist typically involved with extracting valuable insights from data to solve business problems and support decision-making. They collect, clean, and analyze data using various statistical and machine learning techniques. Data Scientists also create and validate algorithms, models, and visualizations to communicate their findings to stakeholders.
Qualifications
• Data Collection and Preparation. Gathering data from various sources, cleaning, and preparing it for analysis.
• Data Analysis and Interpretation. Using statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and other analytical techniques to uncover patterns, trends, and insights.
• Model Building and Evaluation. Creating and testing predictive models, algorithms, and other data-driven solutions.
• Communication and Reporting. Presenting findings through reports, visualizations, and presentations to stakeholders.
• Problem Solving and Decision Support. Identifying business problems and using data to propose solutions and recommendations for decision-making.
• Staying Updated. Continuously learning about new technologies and techniques in data science.
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in a field of study related to Data Science.
• Have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience working as a Data Scientist.
• Strong Analytical and Statistical Skills
• Programming Skills
• Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
• Communication and Presentation Skills
• Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking
• SECRET security clearance minimum
Additional Information
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to work on Government contracts.
• Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
