Day Porter

Day Porter General Responsibilities: Maintain office building, or other commercial building in clean and orderly condition based on the scope of work on job site assigned to. Specific Duties / Essential Functions: • Cleaning offices, lobbies, and common areas. • Cleaning and restocking restrooms. • Empty trash cans around the property and replace trash bags. • Cleaning corridors and stairwells. • Removing trash, cleaning floors, dusting/wiping down all surfaces. • Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping. • Operating walk-behind floor cleaning machines (if applicable). • Cleans and polishes furniture, windows, doors, frames, ashtrays, and fixtures. • Restocking supplies in, bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas. • Maintain janitor closet and janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition. • Periodically cleans overhead vents and dust blinds. • Proficiency in English will enhance your ability to collaborate and communicate with colleagues and clients, ensuring smooth operations. • Miscellaneous duties as assigned. Schedule: Full-time - Monday-Friday: 9 AM - 5:30 PM Salary:$24.00/hour Skills & Experience: • While not mandatory, proficiency in English is highly recommended to perform the responsibilities of this role effectively. Physical Requirements: • Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching. • Must be able to lift 35 lbs, carry 12 lbs backpack vacuum, as needed. • Good hygiene skills are required. • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
