Role description Company: Tredence Inc. Position Title: Manager - Data Engineering Location: 1900 Camden Ave., Suite 66, San Jose, CA 95124 Position Responsibilities: Act as an associate product owner for a data product in Snowflake. Be a champion of Data Product and Data Mesh architecture. Responsible for data mappings from source to target, designing enterprise data models & metadata. Manage end to end delivery by investigating problem areas, working cross-functionally with development, testing & business stakeholders. Create testing strategy and oversee end to end testing, including functional, performance, system, integration testing. Review test coverage and use automation tools for executing test cases. Document and sign off for production deployment. Drive optimization by improving ETL processes and code runtime and bring in required tooling to improve quality of solutions. Collect business requirements from relevant stakeholders and translate them into technical requirements. Be responsible for creation of BRD (business requirement document), high level design documents, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Strategy. Use project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project to manage the delivery of the project. Follow the Agile development methodology; think strategically and execute methodically. Provide information to client and leadership by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and testing issues. Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, or related field, PLUS five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: Snowflake; Python; Kafka; AWS Cloud Services; AWS Lambda; S3; SQS; SAP Business Objects; Apache Airflow, and; Docker.
