The Delphix Database Administrator evaluates, designs, crafts, and supports all aspects of masking and virtualization non-production database environments using Delphix Masking & Virtualization Software, aligning efforts with business requirements in a multifaceted and evolving market.

Job Tasks:

• Develop an expert knowledge of Delphix Masking and Virtualization software and how it has been implemented at AMN Healthcare including its various relational database applications currently in use within the Company.
• Transforms security business requirements into Delphix workflows to help automate non-production restores of database applications.
• Works with Delphix APIs to write custom PowerShell scripts vital for automation.
• Configures and Profiles Application Databases using Delphix to identify critical tables and fields.
• Revises regular expression Profile Expressions in Delphix Masking Engine to better identify critical data.
• Works with application SME's to validate that Profiled sensitive tables and fields are accurately identified, masked and tested in non-production environments so that sensitive data is removed.
• Configures Delphix Virtualization for non-production environments in an effort to reduce environment disk space requirements.
• Ensures new application databases introduced at AMN Healthcare are accurately masked and virtualized using Delphix.
• Develops SQL code for pre/postscripts to ensure all vital data will be masked.
• Works with Governance and Information Security teams to ensure sensitive application data is removed from all non-production database environments.
• Leads all Delphix software upgrades.
• Ensures that constantly evolving application database schemas are accounted for and masked in non-production environments.
• Develops, improves, and documents AMN's Delphix architecture and restoration processes for Database Administration Team.
• Identify and call out potential security issues to Governance, Information Security and Database Administration Teams.

Education, Certifications & Experience

Minimum Education/Certifications:

• College degree in IS or a related field

Minimum Experience:

• proven ability as an MS-SQL Server DBA with responsibility for installing, configuring, restoring, backup, and maintaining one or more production 24x7 SQL Server databases.
• 5+ years' experience crafting databases and working with development teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• proven ability monitoring, diagnosing, fix, and resolving database performance issues, including performance tuning and optimization

Preferred Experience

• Experience planning and configuring backup and recovery processes for non-production SQL Server and other RDBMS systems.
• Exposure to Delphix software will be huge.

Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
