A Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing developing and customizing applications within the Salesforce platform to meet specific business needs. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements creating scalable technical solutions using Apex Visualforce and Lightning Components (LWC/Aura) and integrating Salesforce with external systems through APIs. Salesforce Developers ensure system performance maintain data integrity and continuously enhance the platform to support business growth and efficiency.
In this role you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
- Lead the design and development of scalable Salesforce applications with a focus on Service Cloud and Field Service Cloud functionalities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions aligned with energy industry needs.
- Implement and optimize service processes such as case management work order management scheduling and mobile workforce enablement.
- Ensure compliance with data security privacy and regulatory standards relevant to the energy sector.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews technical documentation and best practices.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases and innovations especially those impacting service and field operations.
- Configure and administer the platform write Apex code create Visual Force pages and is proficient in LWC.
- Handling various aspects of Salesforce development and maintenance ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow and experience in integrating with enterprise applications.
- Proven experience with Salesforce Service Cloud implementations.
- Strong experience with Visual Studio GitHub and SFDX (Salesforce Developer Experience).
- Excellent problem-solving communication and leadership skills.
- Proficient in using the Eclipse/Force.com IDE and have a solid understanding of CRM principles.
