All about the role:

Responsible for the design & development of existing mechanical and/or electronic product components and creation & validation of new components. Tasks are of low complexity and in support of more senior colleagues. Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems. Receives instructions, guidance, and direction from others.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and utilize project functional specifications, timelines for engineering tasks and DFMEA’s for components and assemblies.
• Develop, Creation & Validation and present engineering component and assembly drawings.
• Analyses technical solutions with suppliers, factory, and other functions
• Perform tolerance studies on components and assemblies for projects.
• Delivering product specifications and procedures to the manufacturing team for production purposes.
• Conceptualizing new product ideas by using CAD software to design prototypes.
• Fabricating prototypes for testing
• Testing products throughout the design process to troubleshoot any potential problems.
• Fine-tuning designs until they are ready for production
• Delivering product specifications and procedures to the manufacturing team for production purposes.
• Execute Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) assessment on project components and assemblies.
• Collaboration with Global R&D in a technical module area.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor ’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or extensive practical experience.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in product development.
• Experience in Plastic injection molding, sheet metal, extrusion, thermoforming components.
