As we expand our capabilities we are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer who enjoys solving infrastructure and automation challenges. This DevOps will be based in Prague and join the international Engineering team based in Prague Krakow Lisbon Porto India and the US.
Joining the team you will contribute to taking IBM Manta Data Lineage to a new level and help our customers determine data flow throughout their models and systems by increasing their data pipeline transparency.
As a DevOps Engineer on the Data Intelligence team at IBM you will play a critical role in cloud-native applications' deployment and operational support. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure solutions that support scalable and reliable software delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Tekton
- Managing and optimizing containerized environments based on OpenShift / Kubernetes.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.
- Supporting development teams in automation deployment and integration tasks.
- Participating in incident response and problem resolution to ensure high availability.
- Working closely with security QA and product teams to ensure compliance and quality across the delivery lifecycle.
- Proven experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.
- Solid hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms especially Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins Tekton or ArgoCD
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Bash Python Groovy).
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Solid understanding of GitOps principles and software version control (GIT).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Comfortable working in Linux Environments.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of IBM Cloud or other major cloud providers (AWS)
- Exposure to secure software development and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with international teams
