DevOps Engineer

The Emphasys PHA team is seeking a DevOps Egineer to join it's growing technology team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The DevOps Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

• Azure Infrastructure provisioning via Infrastructure as Code.
• Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management scripts.
• Handle code deployments in all environments.
• Manage source code repositories, build automation and static code analysis.
• Build, maintain and monitor configuration standards.
• Maintain and improve overall deployment packaging and processes.
• Participate in Release Planning.
• Help manage risks that may affect scope of a release.
• Other activities related to infrastructure and/or product releases.
• Document and design various processes; update existing processes.
• Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Azure is required; familiarity deploying and operating .NET web applications, APIs, Desktop Applications, MSIX.
• Understanding of PaaS and IaaS in reference to Azure environments.
• Understanding of database deployments and scripts.
• Agile Principles / Continuous Integration / Continuous Release.
• Cloud/Data Center Administration.
• Automation/configuration management using tools like ADO, Octopus, GitHub etc.
• Powershell, TerraForm, C#, and other scripting language equivalents.
• Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service requirements.
• Versatile scripter for administration, operations, and monitoring tasks.
• Competent and active proponent of DevOps principles.
