Job Description

• Your main focus is on software development and you have very good knowledge of a programming language, preferably Python
• The automatic provision of your own and third-party developments via CI/CD is part of your area of ​​responsibility
• The creation and implementation of architectural concepts in the (Microsoft Azure) cloud is one of the core tasks
• The colleagues from the operations team support you with the power and gas specific requirements so that you can implement them in Microsoft Azure
• You ensure that the technical group architecture specifications as well as the applicable IT governance and IT security specifications are implemented and adhered to

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science or IT-oriented vocational training with relevant professional experience
• Architecture (technical), operational management of applications, CI/CD pipeline, containerization (Docker), IT infrastructures, Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud scripting/programming, JavaScript, IT security and IT data protection
• Familiarity with the following technologies: Python, MS Azure and Lakehouse architecture, Databricks (Spark)
• Certified in the Azure domain (e.g. Azure Developer, DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect)
• Fluent in English and German
• Well structured, analytically thinking and demonstrating the ability to explain processes in a clear and understandable manner to a non-technical audience
• System management expertise with monitoring, disaster recovery, backup, automated testing, automated schema migration, and continuous deployment
• Ability to take ownership and proven strive for excellence
