Director, Data & Analytics

Restore is looking for an experienced Data leader to play a huge role in building and delivering the first generation of our Hyper Wellness® platform. You will be responsible for the systems that will change millions of people's lives, outlook on health, and healthspan. Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate the establishment and execution of the roadmap for data and analytics, supporting the overall strategy set by our product roadmap
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure data needs are addressed and the required data is modeled and available to analysts and end-users
• Lead a team of engineers, analysts, and data scientists to deliver the solutions that fulfill business information needs and align with company goals
• Collaborate with all functions of the company to ensure data needs are addressed and the required data is modeled and available to analysts and end-users
• Balance short term and long term needs to ensure that the architecture can scale and evolve accordingly
• Lead internal and external engineering resources, providing direction on requirements, architecture, and prioritization of data engineering projects to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions
• Develop and enforce data governance policies and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse
• Design and implement data transformation pipelines to clean, normalize, and enrich data in the data warehouse
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions to enable data-driven decision-making, using reporting tools such as Tableau
• Develop and maintain data integration pipelines using tools such as DBT and Airflow
• Develop and maintain data warehousing solutions using cloud-based technologies such as SnowFlake and BigQuery
• Develop and maintain tagging solutions using Google Tag Manager to enable effective tracking of user behavior on the company's digital platforms
• Monitor and optimize data infrastructure performance, including data pipeline latency, data processing time, and query performance
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and apply them to improve the company's data infrastructure and processes
• Collaborate with C-suite executives and other organizational leaders to understand their data needs and provide strategic guidance on data engineering initiatives that align with business goals

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, data integration and data transformation
• 5+ years managing a high performing team, preferably leading an analytics team or data science function
• Strong experience with cloud-based data warehousing technologies such as SnowFlake and BigQuery
• Highly proficient programming skills in SQL and Python
• Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
• Strong understanding of data governance, data security, and data privacy best practices
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Passionate about data and wants to build and implement best practices
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, ability to work comfortably and collaboratively in a cross-functional setting
• Strong project management skills. Ability to set priorities and consistently deliver under ambiguity
• Operates with optimism and understands how to build and motivate a high performing team
