About The Role and Team

As Director of Global Enablement, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational components of Amplitude’s enablement programs, ensuring that go-to-market teams have the content and skills to manage customer relationships at every stage of their cycle. This position reports to the VP of GTM Enablement. 

Responsibilities
  • Build and execute the Sales Enablement strategy in partnership with the Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Lead and directly manage the Enablement Programs team across North America, including recruiting/hiring, development, and performance management.
  • Support planning and coordinating the annual global sales kick-off (SKO) and other enablement events, experiences, and training
  • Own the development and management of sales content to support the Customer Engagement Model
  • Develop and execute a Sales Leadership and Coaching curriculum to support front-line managers in critical coaching conversations, including MEDDPICC deal qualification, account management, and territory planning
  • Support GTM Onboarding design for AEs and SDRs to educate new hires on methodology and critical skills
  • Define objectives and key results for each program. Measure and communicate programs’ success metrics
  • When required, manage vendor relationships to activate new skill or methodology content in the field
Basic Qualifications
  • A strong point of view on how a successful enablement program should run with a focus on Enterprise sales.
  • 8+ years leading end-to-end enablement programs in a B2B SaaS Organization
  • 4+ years in a quota-carrying sales or success role in a B2B SaaS Organization
  • Must have experience leading “train-the-trainer” programs for front-line managers
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies and processes, territory and account planning
  • Ability to design and develop engaging and interactive training and content using a variety of modalities and methods
  • Consistent record of impacting revenue outcomes through enablement, based on documented success metrics
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects across multiple teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in selling methods, preferably Sandler and MEDDPICC
  • Experience using authoring tools (i.e. Articulate Rise/Storyline, Captivate, Adobe Premiere Pro, Camtasia)
  • Experience working with content management systems (i.e. Showpad, Highspot. Seismic) and learning management systems (i.e. BrainShark, MindTickle, SkillJar)

Based on Colorado law, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Colorado. Colorado range: $202,000 - $304,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus)
Based on legislation in New York City, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in New York City. New York City salary range: $225,000 - $337,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus)
Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $225,000 - $337,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus)
Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $202,000 - $304,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus)
Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington state. Washington salary range: $202,000 - $304,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus)
Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington only: unlimited PTO, 10 to 13 holidays annually (will vary), medical dental and vision PPO and CDHP plans. Finally, a company sponsored 401(k) retirement plan.
