About the Job
We are looking for a Director of Ad Operations, who will be responsible for setting the strategy, direction, and management of the department, which handles all aspects of campaign management, network optimization, and revenue analysis. In this role, you will have full immersion into our AdTech platform, DSPs, databases, salesforce, and analysts to garner insights that will lead to operational efficiencies and drive scale to meet the company’s revenue goals.
They will work directly with the sales team, client success, product, engineering, research, business development, and business intelligence team. Functionally, this role will be working with our ad platform, pricing strategy and inventory planning to ensure that the team successfully launches, monitors and optimizes campaigns while maintaining optimal financial results.
The Director will be accountable for monitoring the performance of the team, the processes used, making recommendations for efficiencies in the workflow and systems used as well as helping to grow and develop our talent. The Director will also be responsible for headcount planning for both in-house and out-sourced roles to best support the business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop solutions to reduce campaign set up errors to 0% and increase associate output by 100% YoY
- Create and refine analytical tools to ensure 100% campaigns delivery while hitting 100% of client benchmarks
- Train and mentor associates towards operational excellence so they will be all ready for advancement in their next review cycles
- In 6 months, become the foremost authority on revenue and inventory projections to help determine quarterly supply demands
- In a year, become a top expert of the Infillion tech stack to help product develop features that reduce campaign management time by 50% YoY
- Act as a strategic partner for Product, Business Development, and Sales to set and deliver actionable revenue goals via data-driven insights
- Build procedural alignment across a diverse set of stakeholders, you will be the informed leader on our campaign operations workflow and data
- Identify, document and project manage with our engineering department on resolving technical issues related to campaign operations

What you have:
- 8+ years’ experience in digital Ad Ops at an ad tech company, ad agency or ad network
- Mastery of the digital online ecosystem, including familiarity with major DSPs, SSPs, verification vendors, ad servers, offline measurement vendors, and attribution vendors
- You have an understanding in the changing landscape of ad tech and data privacy
- Ability to aggregate/normalize data from multiple sources and compile it into an actionable format to build executive-level dashboards and inform processes improvement decisions
- Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau
- Is an experienced leader and effective manager who appreciates the responsibility of taking ownership and accountability for the performance and development of the team
- Demonstrated success at working with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships internally and externally
- Proven track record of stakeholder management and ability to drive incremental revenue through operational efficiencies
- Strong quantitative aptitude with the ability to analyze business performance statistics and recommend optimized solutions.
