The Director of Content Marketing has a passion for crafting messaging and multimedia content. As a creative and strategic content creator, this role leads a comprehensive content marketing strategy in support of digital acquisition, corporate campaigns, public relations, and optimization of web properties to drive top-of-funnel and mid-funnel conversions. In collaboration with other members of the executive, marketing, creative, and PR teams the Dir. of Content Marketing helps expand KnowBe4โs digital footprint with content experiences that drive prospect and customer engagement, and support our brand awareness, thought leadership, and demand generation efforts.ย
This role includes development and implementation of a messaging architecture that maps corporate and product messaging from the brand level through buying personas. You will work collaboratively to help establish and implement a content marketing framework for execution of cross-functional marketing campaigns across corporate, field and product marketing.ย ย
The role will also lead the charge in optimizing KnowBe4โs digital asset management and content operations, and will be a key stakeholder in website rebranding, optimization, and ongoing website content strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver content that receives high engagement and conversion rates
- Map out a content strategy that supports the larger go-to-market strategy, determining which methods work for the brand and why
- Collaborate with executive level team members to drive brand and product awareness initiatives
- Lead content marketing initiatives end-to-end, and oversee goals, metrics, and people management
- Identify, evaluate and manage agencies, freelancers, vendors, and platforms
- Measure and optimize the effectiveness of our content by developing KPIs and reporting
- Enforce brand voice, tone and style across all content and channels.
- Establish and evaluate buyer journey maps and content performance metrics to recommend actions
- Identify opportunities for better asset management of Marketing assets (Sales Enablement platform and/or Digital Asset Management recommendations)
- Provide consultation on content strategy to marketing team and outside partners
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of content in marketing communications through quality control, proofing, and data checking
- Hire, promote, discipline, and terminate subordinate employees, or suggest and recommend hiring, promoting, disciplining, and terminating subordinate employees for consideration be given particular weight
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience with B2B marketing in the technology industry
- IT and cybersecurity marketing a plus
- Significant experience managing all content marketing functions and associated vendors
- Experience handling marketing budgets and forecasting/reporting results
- Experience with marketing automation platforms
- Experience with Salesforce and Google Analytics
- Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- You possess credibility in the craft with past experience as a content marketer, managing content marketers, and deep creative and content expertise with a view across holistic, integrated marketing through the funnel
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to extract meaning from data and apply that meaning to improving program performance
- Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions
- Organized and self-motivated with the ability to define goals and prioritize work based on what's most impactful to the business and our target audience
The base pay for this position ranges from $110,000 - $130,000, which will vary depending on how well an applicant's skills and experience align with the job description listed above.
