Director of Echocardiography in San Francisco, California

The Division of Cardiology at Zuckerberg San Francisco General, a major teaching hospital of the University of California, San Francisco, is recruiting a fulltime Director of the Echocardiography Lab at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level. We are seeking an outstanding clinician, educator, and leader with a record of expertise in echocardiography, excellence in providing inpatient and outpatient care, and effective education of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Applicants must have a MD degree, be board certified or board eligible in cardiovascular medicine, and have level III competence in echocardiography. Experience with technical and administrative aspects of hospital-based echocardiography systems is preferred. Interests and/or experience in cardiovascular research is highly desirable.

The candidate must qualify for appointment as faculty at UCSF School of Medicine at a level commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See [Table 5](  Show Contact Details ). The minimum base salary range for this position is $127,000-$333,700.

This position includes membership in the [health sciences compensation plan]( Show Contact Details ) which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
