Director of Padel Role HPTA is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as the Director of Padel. This role is pivotal in developing and leading our padel program, catering to both junior and adult players. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in padel coaching, a proven track record in developing padel programs, a passion for the sport, and a strong commitment to player development at all levels. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Be a highly visible engaging leader who represents HPTA accordingly. • Provides timely and consistent client communication, which includes the following: o Phone or email contact with clientele: replying within 48 hours. o Regular and consistent check-ins with clientele and parents of clientele (if junior clientele). Building rapport with clientele. • Cultivate participant relationships and integrate those members seamlessly into existing programming: o New clientele o Existing clientele • Provide HPTA Managers, Directors, COO, and CEO/Owner, with Session reports of private lesson clientele, and clinics as Lead Pro. • Provides timely and consistent internal communication with HPTA Staff, Managers, Directors, COO, and CEO/Owner • Offer Action Plans for private lesson and clinic participants looking for guidance or promotion. • Develop and implement a comprehensive padel training program for junior and adult players, focusing on skill acquisition, strategy development, match tactics, and physical conditioning. • Plan and organize padel clinics, camps, leagues, and tournaments for both junior and adult players, ensuring a diverse range of opportunities for skill enhancement and competition. • Lead and supervise a team of assistant padel coaches, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality instruction and program delivery. • Collaborate with Directors to align padel programming with the overall goals and objectives of the sports facility. • Conduct player assessments and evaluations to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and customize training plans to meet individual player needs. • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and a love for the game among players of all ages and skill levels. • Stay updated on industry trends, coaching techniques, and best practices in padel instruction to continuously enhance the program's quality and relevance. • Assist in marketing and promoting the padel program, including outreach to schools, communities, and other organizations to attract new players and grow participation.
