Director, Operations Project Management

The Director, Operations Project Management is responsible for facilitating and driving the Enterprise Operations strategy, planning and execution. This individual will oversee the project initiation process, including the development and execution of projects that support various functions across the Enterprise Operations group. There will be heavy emphasis on leading the business Project Managers within Enterprise Operations, to ensure the tools and processes are in place to support efficient, consistent, high quality delivery of our project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the leadership team and ensure alignment with various Enterprise Operations functions.
• Provide expert knowledge/view on program delivery and consistent application of projects across the Enterprise Operations division.
• Drive various projects/programs and recognize milestones to achieve strategic goals.
• Proactively identify process improvement and opportunities to streamline operations.
• Communicate anticipated roadblocks and escalate issues to senior leaders to maintain and achieve goals.
• Ensure process excellence and sponsor continuous improvement and reengineering of processes.
• Reinforce the culture of accountability in follow-through and execution.
• Integrate and coordinate across projects and initiatives to drive alignment.
• Champion large scale change efforts and provide OCM guidance & support to ensure the organization readiness and adoption.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• B.A./B.S. degree with 7+ years industry experience
• Master's degree in business, operations, project management, finance or related field ideal
• 3+ years proven leadership experience
• Extensive experience in project management, ideally within the insurance or financial services field
• Project management certification
• Lean Six Sigma belt certifications preferred
• Ability to develop relationships
• Critical thinker with a mindset towards growth and embracing ongoing change in various disciplines
• High level of energy and curiosity
• Resourcefulness to create clarity while incorporating multiple inputs.
• Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

Salary Band: 07B

This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, WI, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
