Job Opening: Divisional Controller Location:Commerce, CA Compensation:$150,000 annually Ready to lead accounting operations at a high-impact level?We’re seeking a seasonedDivisional Controllerto join our leadership team in Commerce, CA. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of accounting and financial reporting, drive internal control excellence, and empower data-informed decision-making across the division.About the Role As Divisional Controller, you’ll be responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all accounting transactions and financial reports. You’ll also be instrumental in driving process improvements and managing a team of accountants to achieve operational excellence.Responsibilities • General Ledger Management: Record, review, and reconcile all financial transactions across multiple sub-ledgers (AP, AR, inventory, etc.). • Financial Reporting: Deliver timely, accurate monthly reports and business insights to inform leadership decision-making. • Balance Sheet & Fixed Assets: Reconcile all accounts and oversee fixed asset accounting and depreciation in Sage ERP. • Tax & Commission Compliance: Prepare all tax filings (sales, business) and calculate monthly/quarterly commissions. • Consolidated Financials: Support entity consolidations and deliverables for external accountants and tax advisors. • Team Leadership: Manage the accounting team and oversee billing for the division. • Process Optimization: Participate in cross-functional projects to improve financial processes and profitability.Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred) • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience • Mastery of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs) • Strong GAAP knowledge and hands-on experience with reconciliations • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills • High integrity, discretion, and professionalism Why Join Us?
