Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Ecosystem operational specialist you will play a critical part in our Marketing organization driving partner-led demand motions to scale business growth for IBM’s technology offerings including hardware and software. Our ecosystem operational specialists have a deep understanding of our partners: how they sell how they make money and what their priority offerings are and use this knowledge to inform business growth.
It’s strongly expected for you by the team members providing cross functional support on every marketing campaign supports such as contents creation procurement related document creation.
And one of its major program is our Co-Marketing program. This provides fund support to partners for their marketing activities. These funds are used by partners to promote IBM products and services for new customer acquisition and business expansion. In this role you will support this program from end to end supporting business productivity and visibility of the Japan business unit.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Support timely external communications on programs mainly in co-marketing
• Manage and support co-marketing program backend operations such as program communication funding allocation managing Q&A from our partners and any related reporting.
• Manage procurement and budgeting support.
• Provide event delivery support to local sales teams and ecosystem marketing members.
• Support contents production processes including reviewing uploading and publishing content conducting campaigns and troubleshooting campaign execution issues
• Collaborate proactively with IBM internal stakeholders to develop expertise in local market trends insights and demands
• Createe reports on program performance or major KPIs
• Report on latest business status and insight to Japan marketing leaders

This is a Hybrid role attendance to the office is currently required only 3 times per week.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • B2B marketing experience
  • Excellent program/project management and execution skills able to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Solid problem solving and analytical skills attention to detail and ability to be proactive
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills in Japanese and English
  • Basic skill of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Power Point


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • B2B partner marketing experience with fundamental understanding of partner business
  • Familiar with procurement and claims operations and budget management
  • Experience in campaign design and delivery.
  • Experimentative mindset – works quickly to pilot succeed/fail fast and scale what works.
