Electician

Chaparral is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Electric Heat Trace Systems for industrial and commercial applications. Position Description • Assemble, install, and maintain electric heat trace systems. • Perform electrical calculations to support system installations. • Read and interpret construction drawings to guide installations effectively. • Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and assist with the repair of equipment and electrical faults. • Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment. • Collaborate closely with the Chaparral Insulation Supervisor for installation coordination. • Document all work performed and provide progress updates to associated parties. • Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely. • Work outdoors in various environmental conditions, including exposure to hot and cold temperatures. Position Requirements • Bi-Lingual is a plus, not required (English/Spanish). • Basic Electrical Knowledge Required • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings. • Strong communication skills with a professional demeanor. • License Electrician not required. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. • Experience using handheld electrical meters, hand tools, and power tools effectively and safely Equal Opportunity Employer We are an Equal Employment/Affirmative Action employer.
