Electrical Helper/Apprentice

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. Responsibilities • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. • Work alongside experienced electricians to learn about various electrical components and systems. • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. • Participate in troubleshooting electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. • Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards. • Gain experience with low voltage and high voltage systems under supervision. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Skills • Prior experience as an industrial or commercial electrician is a plus but not required. • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment is essential. • Basic understanding of electrical principles and concepts is preferred. • Experience in construction site environments is beneficial for practical application of skills. • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site. • Willingness to learn from experienced electricians and take direction effectively.
