Electrician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable residential and/or commercial electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, ensuring the safety, functionality, and code compliance of electrical systems in a variety of settings. This role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and residential properties, as well as collaborating with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and to code. This role involves working on construction sites, interpreting blueprints and schematics, and ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems. • Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. • Conduct tests using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems. • Troubleshoot electrical issues by diagnosing problems with circuits or equipment. • Ensure compliance with NEC regulations and safety standards on all projects. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols. Experience • Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the construction industry. • Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints is essential. • Experience using power tools safely and effectively. • Knowledge of NEC regulations is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required for success in this position.
