Job Description

MAXISIQ is seeking a talented Software Developer with a a strong background in high-level programming languages and a proven track record of testing and refining computer software and applications to join our innovative team in a full-time, on-site capacity in Quantico, Virginia supporting work anticipated to start in October upon award. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the development of robust, scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement software applications using high-level programming languages
• Conduct thorough testing of software applications, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing
• Refine and optimize existing code to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's technical growth

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Active Top Secret clearance minimum
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in high-level programming languages such as C#, .Net and Blazer.
• Extensive experience with software testing methodologies and tools
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
