Job Description

MAXISIQ is seeking a talented and motivated Systems Engineer with a strong background in Windows server environments, Active Directory, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and scripting to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity in Quantico, Virginia supporting work anticipated to start in October upon award.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Windows server infrastructure and Active Directory environment
• Implement and support multi-factor authentication solutions across the organization
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate system administration tasks
• Troubleshoot complex system and network issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and improve existing systems
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed
• Assist in documenting IT processes and maintaining system documentation

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Active Top Secret clearance minimum
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in systems engineering or IT administration
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory
• Experience implementing and managing MFA solutions
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
• In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server administration
• Experience with MFA technologies (e.g., Azure AD MFA, Duo, RSA SecurID)
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skill

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) principles
• Familiarity with ITIL practices
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CompTIA Security+, Azure Administrator)
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)
