Endpoint Scripting Engineer - SaaS

Do you love scripting and building automation? We are looking for a systems engineer with wide ranging IT and Managed Service Providers (MSP) skills who want to build out of the box scripting solutions for our IT Operations suite of software. Use your IT industry and operating systems knowledge to define baseline standards for our clients that raise our product standards. The solutions you build will be used by thousands of companies and your contributions will impact the baseline IT standards of companies around the world. You will join our Product Management team, working alongside other Software Product Engineers. Collaborating with our Senior Product Managers, Software Development Engineers, and our Support Engineers, you will work with like-minded individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional automation solutions to our NinjaOne clients.
****English Resume Required****Location: We are flexible on remote working from home, but you must be located in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, or Mexico .
We hire the best software engineers, but experience in our stack can't hurt: NinjaOne is built on Java, Kotlin, C++, and Postgres, supporting millions of user endpoints and running as a scalable cloud service in AWS. Knowing large-scale datastore bottlenecks, asynchronous application design and client-server architecture will help you.
What You'll be Doing

• Product-Enhancing Scripting and Content Development - build content for our IT operations software products in the form of scripts, monitoring conditions, and baseline standards. Create ad hoc scripts and automations for NinjaOne prospects and existing clients.
• Strategic Script Development for Product Patching - specialize in crafting scripts tailored for efficient product patching procedures. Continuously refine our scripting repository to align with evolving industry standards for streamlined patching operations.
• Frontline Automation Resolutions and Client Support- identify, implement, and fast-track one-off scripts for automation. Reactively respond to incidents or events in the IT landscape with tailored automation solutions.

About You

• 3+ years of experience installing, maintaining, configuring, monitoring, and automating in Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
• 3+ years of experience scripting in PowerShell scripting.
• Technical experience across the entire IT infrastructure, managed services stack.
• A passion for problem solving, an ability to deconstruct complex problems into parts and develop solutions.
• Experience with the challenges IT teams face with security and know how to set up secure baselines for Windows, Mac, and Linux devices.
• Experience with source control and interacting with REST APIs.
