Engineer - Data Management

What you'll do:

"The data steward implements the product data life cycle maintenance in the ERP systems. In this role the data steward will receive instructions from the Divisional Lead Data Steward (located in Europe) and from the Manager - (located in Pondicherry).

The Data Steward will support for creation / extension of products across ES-EMEA CSO's and also will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of Eaton's Product master data."

"ERP - Specific
• Support the creation of a new Product master database for Local owned products End to End in SAP.
• Support on product transfers from one location to another location by setting up Part, Sales views on SAP system.
• Migrate items to different CSO's to enable sales synergy across systems

• Increase product data quality in system by implementing monthly/daily audits"

Qualifications:

BE/B.Tech Electrical /Mechanical
1 - 3 years - Proven and solid experience working in the following ERP system : SAP

Skills:

"• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong data analytic skillset
• Good interpersonal skills and planning ability
• High level of attention to detail
• Knowledge on any one programming language a strong plus
• Highly ethical and able to work in cross functional team"
