For the Thermo Fisher Scientific (Thermo Ramsey) site in Parma, a mechanical plant operating in the food and pharmaceutical packaging sector we're looking a Quality Engineer.

At Thermo Fisher Scientific, Quality Engineering is responsible for conducting comprehensive testing and ensuring the quality and reliability of hardware products. They collaborate with cross-functional teams, track and document defects, and propose effective solutions. With a strong understanding of the hardware development lifecycle and testing methodologies, they contribute to improving quality assurance processes and staying up-to-date with industry best practices.

A day in the Life:
- Identify, document, and track hardware defects and issues using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Perform root cause analysis of hardware defects and propose effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Continuously improve and streamline the quality assurance processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Keys to Success:
Education
- Engineering or similar bachelors degree or equivalent required.
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a regulated manufacturing or quality environment.
- Familiar with various quality tools, techniques and methodologies, including functional, performance, and reliability testing.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Knowledge in standards and regulations such as ISO 9001.
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels of staff throughout the organization.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient Italian and English languages
