Position Summary

 Join a revolutionary team of Distributed Cloud Data engineering, Analytics, Cloud service specialists to build core data system, analytics, telemetry, AI/Generative AI powered services at scale in the growing field of multi-cloud SaaS, Security and Multi Cloud Networking solutions. We are looking for a Software Engineer III to join our Data engineering team to accelerate data platform and data and telemetry missions in the F5 Distributed Cloud Platform Group.

As a member of the Distributed Cloud Data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing data systems and data services for the new landscape of F5 SaaS products.

Responsibilities

• Design/develop/enhance data platform, data/ analytics service on SaaS platform 

• Design/develop/enhance telemetry and metrics pipeline and services

• Work closely with product, marketing, operation, platform, and customer support team to create innovative solution for Cloud product delivery

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience (5+ years for Software Engineer III).

• Experience with programming languages such as GO, Java, Python 

• Experience with data/stream processing (e.g., Kafka, PubSub, Dataflow, Vector), database and data warehouse (e.g., Clickhouse, Elasticsearch, BigQuery, Redis) 

• Experience with logs, metrics, telemetry, Prometheus, Open Telemetry

Experience with container, Kubernetes and Microservice, modern CI/CD
