Engineer (Tools Automation)

As a result of continued growth, OzoneAPI is looking to recruit a Tools Automation Engineer, focused on developing and maintaining automation tools and systems and enhancing our software development and testing processes. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and collaboration skills, enabling efficient and innovative automation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain software automation tools and systems.
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines, optimising software delivery.
• Write and maintain scripts in Bash or other relevant languages.
• Work on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure and OCI, ensuring robust automation solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand automation needs and provide effective solutions.
• Identify and implement best practices in software development and automation.
• Engage in continuous learning and application of new technologies and tools in automation.

• A minimum of 3 years experience in automation testing and tools development.

• Proficiency in one of the major programming languages like Javascript/Typescript, Python etc. and should be comfortable picking new languages as needed.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes
• Experience working in an Agile environment and understanding of DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex projects.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in a team environment.
• Experience with at least one of the cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, OCI, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Experience with Docker and microservices are advantageous.
