How You'll Help Us Connect the World

As a CTO Engineering Intern, you will work in the Chief Technology Office (CTO) as part of the Cable & Connectivity Solutions (CCS) business unit. The CTO team is responsible for developing both short-term and long-term technology strategies that align with business objectives to drive increased revenue. You will work closely with Business Development & Strategy, Product Line Management, and R&D teams to identify technology trends and determine feasibility and development timelines.

This role will be based in Richardson, TX.

You Will Make an Impact By

• Driving and championing an innovative culture.
• Assisting CTO senior staff members to research market trends and emerging technologies and define corresponding strategies.
• Collaborating with the Business Development/Strategy and R&D team members to discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies that yield products/service enhancements and increase/maintain competitive advantages.
• Aiding with strategic positioning for the CCS SDOs (Standards Development Organizations).

Required Qualifications for Consideration

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's (upcoming juniors & seniors) or master's degree in Engineering from an accredited university
• Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Ability to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
• Demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong initiative; a self-starter with analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
