Equipment Operator and Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various heavy machinery and equipment on construction sites. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment, contributing to the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities • Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and concrete mixers on construction sites. • Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. • Safely transport materials using dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and front loader trucks. • Collaborate with team members to execute construction tasks efficiently and effectively. • Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment. • Assist in the setup and breakdown of construction sites as needed. • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities. Qualifications • Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and cranes. • Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on machinery. • Experience with commercial driving is preferred; valid driver's license required. • Familiarity with various types of construction site operations and safety standards. • Ability to operate farm machinery and tanker trucks is a plus. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
