Estimator/Project Manager

Job Summary We are seeking someone with Insurance restoration industry experience, all positions encouraged to apply. Mitigation/Remediation / Repairs Lead , Project Managers, Xactimate estimators, former adjusters of any type highly desired, to help support our team in the restoration and claims service industry. The candidate will possess a strong background in working at least two years in or with with insurance based jobs, xactimate estimating, project management, and or sales/estimating. This role is essential for ensuring proper claims handling and adjuster or carrier negotiations, contributing to the overall success of our projects. The position will follow up on new leads, complete inspections and oversee the preparation of estimates. Collaborate closely with project managers and other stakeholders. We have an extremely diverse and knowledgeable team and will train the right person(s). Everything from Executive Assistant to Project Manangement and in between encourgaged to apply. Responsibilities • Lead the estimating team to ensure high-quality estimates are prepared in a timely manner and not over written. • Utilize Xactimate, Docusketch and Companycam software for creating detailed photo documentation reports and cost estimates. • Negotiate claims with adjusters or TPA vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable terms for the company. • Collaborate with project management teams to develop budgets and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle. • Provide insights to enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency. • Follow up on leads and complete job files. • Monitor market trends and pricing strategies to maintain competitive advantage in the ever changing insurance industry. Qualifications • 2 years minimum experience in insurance claims restoration, mitigation , remediation or repairs with a strong understanding of the insurance claims process and methodologies. • IICRC or RIA Certifications highly desired but does not supercede on the job experience. • Familiarity with contracts vs work authorizations related to EMS vs repairs is essential. Work Authorizations, 3rd Party Work Auths, COS • Effective project management skills with the ability to work on several projects simultaneously. Ability to adapt and pivot. • Familiartity with job management software such as Buildertrend, CompanyCam, DocuSketch highly desired. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are needed for effective job coordination with team members. • Familiarity with residential / commercial property insurance policy language and structure.
