Our marketing team is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented event marketing specialist with experience in corporate events, tradeshows and/or conferences. Reporting to the Global Event Marketing leader, you'll join a fun, smart and growing team of marketers as we help impact growth and drive engagement with HR leaders from great companies all over the world.
Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and execution of selected virtual and in-person events, including assisting with booth experience design, speaker management, logistics and AV requirements, webinar platforms management, demo set-up, registration, sales engagement and follow-up.
- Effectively communicate event details with internal stakeholders to get buy-in and engagement with Sales, CS, field marketing and demand gen teams.
- Collaborate with demand marketing, field marketing and sales teams on pre and post-event follow up.
- Work with Creative Marketing teams to incorporate brand messaging into the event experience.
- Support and help create the event strategy, tactical plans and project management from beginning to end, including all logistics, execution and post event follow-up for all on-site and virtual events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, customer success, and product to deliver engaging experiences for attendees.
- Support relationship management with vendor and agency relationships as needed for event planning and execution.
- Assist in measuring the success of event marketing initiatives through key metrics including awareness, lead gen, opportunities created, and ROI.
Job Requirements
- 2 - 4 years of B2B event marketing experience, preferably both virtual and in-person events.
- Experience with promotion, marketing and communication of large events.
- Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail; ability to manage and report on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in helping negotiate contracts, managing third party vendors, arranging, and overseeing support staff, and managing budgets.
- Experience working with national tradeshows and conferences and managing a corporate booth presence with various product experiences.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively under pressure while remaining positive, flexible, and open to feedback.
- Creative thinking around new event opportunities, planning and budgeting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams and lead them through project plans, goals, etc.
