Job Description

Christopherson Business Travel, a globally recognized leader in Travel Management is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our Online Travel Operations team. This position assists in technical support of the online travel booking tools within the company. Specifically, this includes building, maintaining and supporting online booking tools provided by, but not limited to SAP Concur, Deem, Certify, or others as market demands require. This position supports our internal and external clients with a focus on the customer and overall experience when using our technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the online travel booking process for all systems we support
  • Build and implement travel sites on SAP Concur, Deem, Certify
  • Maintain, update and communicate changes to the on-line travel tools to provide the best experience for end users
  • Consult with customers and employees on best practices when using on-line booking systems; offer SME support for training that may include virtual support as well as "in person" support
  • Support and assist clients and advisors of all on-line booking systems
  • Stay abreast of new on-line products and make recommendations for continued operational efficiencies
  • Work with internal clients to integrate and understand connections between our proprietary and 3rd party travel related technologies

Requirements

  • Travel Advisor experience in a full-service travel agency (Preferred)
  • Online booking tools experience (Corporate tools preferred)
  • SAP Concur technical certification for travel preferred
  • Strong focus on excellent customer experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and with 3rd party vendors to ensure timely rollout of client sites
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and manage interruptions
  • Demonstrated leadership and presentation skills
  • Flexibility with schedule (some "on call" work required) and ability to work well under pressure
  • Creative solutions consulting skills to address individual customer needs
  • A general understanding of MS Excel/Spreadsheet data
