Our executive team is a motley band of outspoken windbags. Ah, well ok you may be used to that part. But you'll probably be surprised when you see how hard it is for them to take themselves seriously for too long.
That said, while there's fun to be had at Expel these days, there's also plenty of work to be done too - we need your help smoothing the path to success. You’ll join our fast paced, versatile Admin & Office Experience crew (AOX) who supports the highest priorities of our execs at Expel. Specifically, you’ll be working with the muckety mucks in charge of Product and Marketing. Your help will be an invaluable contributor to elevating the standard for how we operate and help guide our maturing capabilities.

What you can do for Expel
- Partner with a few executives & their org to optimize their operation
- Handle confidential and/or highly sensitive information with discretion
- Be a focal point for scheduling, travel, and event logistics for executives & their organizations
- Support the businesses’ financial obligations by handling a different types of expenses
- Partner with our Office Manager to help ensure your teams have what they need when they’re in the office
- Help coordinate larger cross-functional meetings for the teams you support (roughly one per quarter) and all-company events
- Provide a variety of other department-specific support, as needed
- Poke fun at our executives from time to time
What you should bring with you
- The energy & motivation to get work stuff done efficiently and effectively
- A customer service mentality and skills
- A pro-level attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills that help you set clear expectations with your executives
- Concise communication, verbally and in writing, with technical and non-technical audiences
- A willingness and ability to learn a bunch of new technology tools quickly
- An ability to support roles in different time zones including outside of East Coast business hours
- The ability to prioritize tasks aptly and prudently
- The confidence to spot gaps in processes and offer solutions when appropriate
- An understanding of the importance of follow-up and task completion in the wake of (sometimes constant) interruptions
- Preferably experience working with leaders in go to market teams like sales, product, and marketing
- 1+ years of professional experience in an executive support role or a compelling story

Additional notes
The salary for this role is between $77,600 and $110,000 USD with bonus and equity.
This role is Remote with occasional travel will be required (roughly 1-2 times per quarter).
