Exhibitor Services Representative

SourceOne Events is seeking a dedicated andExhibitor Services Representativeto add to our local Elmhurst, Illinois team to develop and maintain relationships with both our clients and exhibitors while providing professional communication via phone, email or in person show site meetings. This individual with ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, possess strong organizational skills and play a crucial role in driving future business while and enhancing the overall client and exhibitor service experience. Duties • Develop & maintain relationships with both exhibitors and clients. • Communicate professionally via phone, email, or in person at show site. • Call all exhibitors from each show assigned to you to make sure they have all of the information they need. • Send email reminders about upcoming deadlines for shows. • Answer phones call regarding exhibitor questions. • Upsell to exhibitors with existing orders additional furniture rentals, equipment, and services. • Enter and audit orders into order processing system. • Work with Sales & Finance on client deliverables: quotes, estimates, custom exhibit rentals including graphic needs, etc. • Accurately perform data entry for processing new exhibitor orders and change requests. • Perform all in-house and show site functions/procedures as stated in the Exhibitor Service Manual. • Assist with reviewing the Exhibitor Service Manual • Successfully close shows in a timely manner. Send final invoices to exhibitors and provide full customer support for any billing inquiries. • Adaptable to work in various environments that may cause discomfort including crowding, harsh weather, and noisy conditions when at show site or in office setting. • Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task under pressure. • Provide estimates for shipping costs for exhibitors. • Be prompt and creative in problem solving to achieve successful outcomes. • Provide warehouse team with necessary lists that detail items to pull for exhibitor orders. • Processing orders onsite and working with foreman to deliver prompt service. • Travel is required as needed to out of town client events. • 25% of job responsibilities are not listed. Requirements • Ability to work independently as a self-starter and with a team • Extremely detailed oriented and able to multi-task under pressure • Excellent written and verbal communication • Reliable transportation • College Degree Preferred, not required • Knowledge of convention industry preferred but not required Work Environment: • Work is performed generally in office conditions. Either warehouse/office space or onsite at specific in-house hotel offices. You will also be onsite which can mean hotels, convention centers, docks, etc. • Work may involve repetitive motion meaning typing, using fingers, grasping objects. • Work involves occasional exertion of physical effort. Long periods of standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting. Overtime, nights and weekends required. • Office Hours: 8:00AM – 4:30PM, with a 30 minute lunch break • Benefits: Health (BCBS), Vision, Dental, and Life. Benefits start 46th day of employment.
