Experienced Electrician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both industrial and commercial electrical work, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. This role involves working on construction sites, performing renovations, and ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while adhering to safety standards. Duties • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. • Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems. • Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently. • Conduct troubleshooting using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine wiring layouts. • Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and safety regulations. • Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to complete projects on time. • Perform renovation tasks that may include frame carpentry as needed. • Provide maintenance person services as required for various electrical projects. Experience • Proven experience as an electrician in both industrial and commercial environments is essential. • Familiarity with high voltage systems is preferred. • Experience in construction site settings is a must, along with the ability to adapt to various project demands. • Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety practices, and regulations is required. • Previous experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team while demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
