Summary of Role: GlobalFoundries Fab 8 is seeking an experienced professional to support the 300mm semiconductor technology development integration team. The core responsibilities of this position involve ownership of technology transfer and process integration from development, productization to production. The ideal candidate can demonstrate a technical understanding of process integration and an understanding of a balanced scorecard approach to develop, sustain, and improve the technologies towards best-in-class yield, reliability, quality and cost.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead for technology integration development & qualification.
  • Collaborating with device, process module, reliability and yield team in driving timely technology readiness and manufacturability.
  • Driving technology cost reduction & process convergence.
  • Managing planned process changes with appropriate risk mitigation
  • Owning and maintaining process flow and process control plans for the technology
  • Acting as the interface to technology enablement and design teams on strengthening design to process robustness.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
  • Work and collaborate on other projects and/or assignments as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in electrical engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics or other engineering physical science discipline with 5+ years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in CMOS technology development or manufacturing process integration
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills and an ability to lead cross functional teams on a detailed technical level.
  • Self-starter and highly motivated to succeed in a fast-paced and challenging professional environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in SOI and/or RF technology development or manufacturing process integration
  • Experience with industry standard risk-based analysis such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

Expected Salary Range

$99,000.00 - $187,900.00

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
