Experienced Ready-Mix Driver

MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS Here's what you can expect: • New Hires (No Experience):Training rate at $19.00/hour, increasing to $26.25/hour post-training. • New Hires (2+ Years Experience):Training rate at $19.00/hour, increasing to $28.75/hour post-training. • Drivers (2-5 Years with Company):New rate of $29.25/hour. • Drivers (5-10 Years with Company):New rate of $30.25/hour. • Drivers (10+ Years with Company):New rate of $31.25/hour. • Trainers:Additional $3.00/hour on top of the regular rate. $0.75 cent bonus pay for every hour you work paid right before Christmas (MUST BE ACTIVE EMPLOYEE AT TIME OF PAYMENT TO BE ELIGIBLE) American Eagle Ready Mix Company, a supplier of Ready Mix concrete is seeking Ready Mix Concrete Driver. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of concrete to our customer’s satisfaction. To achieve that goal, the Ready Mix Concrete Driver is: A professional commercial vehicle driver while transporting our product to the customer. • An equipment operator during the process of loading and discharging concrete. • A quality assurance technician in their ability to adjust the product to meet job requirements. • A customer service representative for the company and the concrete industry Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Maintains the highest standard of quality and safety in all aspects of the job. • As a driver/operator you will operate a 10 yard ready mix truck in the timely transportation of ready mix concrete to and from destinations. • Load, unload and secure as needed. • Maintain radio contact with dispatch for scheduling changes. • Prepare, receive and provide appropriate documentation. • Maintain good vehicle appearance.
