Job Description

Job Title: Engineer III, Field Service

Job Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Offer expert in-person mentorship and support to customers on the installation, operation, and maintenance of XRF and OES instruments.
  • Maintenance Services: Perform routine and scheduled maintenance activities on XRF and OES systems, including inspection, calibration, and replacement of service parts and consumables.
  • On-site Repairs: Respond promptly and effectively to customer requests for on-site repairs to ensure flawless service delivery.
  • Documentation: Prepare timely field service reports, maintain accurate and comprehensive service records, including equipment history, repair reports, and customer interaction details to facilitate effective communication and future reference.
  • Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for both yourself and customers during service visits.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to compete effectively in the market and successfully implement service strategies.
  • Customer Relationships: Foster and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure their happiness and dedication.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to determine service opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Native in Korean, Intermediate and above in English
  • At least 5 years experience providing support to customers on site.
  • Availability to travel in Korea and or other countries (if necessary)
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.
  • Dedication to adhering to safety standards and protocols at all times.
