Financial Analyst

Diversified Communications (www.divcom.com) is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our exciting, growing company! In this position, you'll play a crucial role working with the Corporate Finance Team to execute and deliver critical financial reporting and analysis projects for the organization.

Diversified Communications, a Portland, Maine-based employer, is a global B2B tradeshow and conference organizer with over 500 employees, and offices in the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, and Hong Kong. We own and operate events across 15+ states in the US and 8 countries globally. The Corporate Finance Team manages, analyzes, and consolidates global financial data for budgeting and reporting, and is seeking a proactive, organized and detail-oriented person to join the team.

In this role, you'll get to:

-Prepare, coordinate, and document financial reporting and analysis projects.

-Provide analysis for forward-looking financial and business-related projects.

-Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, measuring actual performance against budgets and forecasts.

-Compile consolidated financial reports of actual results, budgets, and forecasts for use in the quarterly reports to the Board of Directors.

-Create reporting templates to be used by the divisions throughout the annual budget and strategic planning process.

-Prepare periodic financial statements required for external reporting and is involved with the annual business valuation.

-Help the team implement and go live with new financial planning and reporting systems (Oracle NetSuite ERP and Workday Adaptive Planning CPM) in the next six months and help to create and edit dashboard reporting for these systems.

This position requires:

-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

-4+ years of experience in Finance, focusing on financial reporting

-Advanced Excel Skills

-Excellent attention to detail

Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning and multi-currency/constant currency reporting a plus.

This role reports to the CFO and works directly with the Corporate Controller, Assistant Controller, and the Financial Systems Manager.
