Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Furniture Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various finishing techniques and a keen eye for detail. This role involves preparing, finishing, and inspecting furniture pieces to ensure they meet quality standards. The Furniture Finisher will work closely with other team members to deliver high-quality products while adhering to safety and efficiency protocols. Duties • Prepare surfaces for finishing and refinishing by sanding, cleaning, and applying primers or sealants. • Utilize various finishing techniques including spray painting, hand painting, and staining. • Operate power tools and precision measuring instruments to achieve desired finishes. • Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure adherence to specifications. • Handle materials safely and efficiently. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. • Assist in assembly tasks as needed, utilizing hand tools and fabrication techniques. Qualifications • Proven experience in furniture finishing and refinishing. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate machinery and power tools effectively. • Familiarity with materials handling, warehouse operations, and basic math skills for measurements. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. • Previous experience in hand finishing and color matching is advantageous.
