Flex Security Officer

Overview: Marksman Security Corporation is hiring immediately for a Flex Security Officer! Applicants need to be flexible with their schedule and willing to work weekends, evenings and holidays, if needed. Must be able to respond to work assignments with little to no advance notice. $19.00 p/hr • Must Have Open Availability Ideal candidates will have previous experience as a security officer, security guard, and/or other safety and protection related fields, including customer service roles.Responsibilities: Benefits: • Insurance: medical, vision and dental • Short term disability • Critical care/Hospital Indemnity • Complimentary life insurance • Pet insurance • Legal assistance/guidance • Identity theft protection • Paid on the job training • Paid time off • Bi-Weekly Pay • Competitive compensation • Career advancement opportunities • Continuous learning opportunities through LMS • Employee referral bonus program • Employee assistance program (EAP) • Employee recognition events • Employee performance incentives/rewards • Professional growth and development opportunities #DALQualifications: Responsibilities: • Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner • Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary • Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles • Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival • Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures • Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms • Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks • Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items • Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders • Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner • Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents) • Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed • Other duties to be determined by management Qualifications: • Must be at least 18 years of age or older • High school degree or equivalent • Valid state licensing, if applicable • Professional demeanor and appearance • Basic computer skills • Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) • Minimum of one year of customer service experience • Minimum of one year of security experience • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug) • This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time • Must Pass a Background Check • Must have an Active Level 2 Security License
