Foreman - Drywall Taping and Finishing

Job Overview We are looking for a drywall taping foreman to oversee our projects. This person should have >20 years of taping experience. Speak English and Spanish. Understand how to direct a crew, manage material and General Contractors. High-level finishes are required on all jobs. Responsibilities • Apply tape, mud, and other finishing materials to drywall seams and joints. • Smooth surfaces using sanders and other tools to achieve a flawless finish. • Inspect completed work for quality control and adherence to project specifications. • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion. • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards, including OSHA regulations. • Utilize construction management software such as ProCore or for project tracking and reporting. • Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for drywall projects. • Supervise junior staff or subcontractors on-site to ensure quality workmanship. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher or similar role in the construction industry. • Familiarity with construction management principles and software. • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices on construction sites. • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong supervisory skills when required. • Proficiency in using various tools and equipment related to drywall finishing. • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members.
