Job Description

Enlighten, an Alion company is looking for a Front End Developer. Will work in a fast paced, small business environment, maintaining and updating the front end applications for our Big Data Platform (BDP) tools.

Duties:

• Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of front end applications
• CSS / HTML/ Javascript coding for front end UI features and effects
• Troubleshooting customer reported issues in applications and providing support
• Engage in quality assurance testing with an emphasis on troubleshooting cross browser client issues

Security Clearance:

• A current security clearance is not required on day one, but will be processed for a clearance and therefore all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen. Can hold a Secret and Top Secret level security clearance.

Required Skills:

• B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related field. Educational requirements may be adjusted for applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with Javascript / HTML / CSS / along with jQuery / AngularJS or other frameworks
• Familiarity with Git and Jira or other version control and issue tracking software
• Comfortable working on a Linux command line
• Self-motivation; Ability to multi-task and prioritize open issues/ tickets accordingly
• Problem solving skills and ability to review information and compile data appropriately as needed
