About the Role

As a remote Front-End Engineer on the Authorization Advisor team you will build a generative AI-powered assistant that empowers specialists to complete prior authorizations. Supporting you will be a cross-functional group including product design and machine learning teams.

You will integrate early demo often and incorporate feedback from internal and external users to iteratively build and land features so that they truly solve problems for our customers. You will be expected to come up with creative solutions and work together to shape the platform architecture. An ideal candidate is excited to innovate for impact in healthcare!

What You'll Do

• Build excellent user interfaces that allow users to interact with our machine learning algorithms and complex medical data

• Deliver cutting-edge frontend software that will be deployed to large healthcare organizations

• Partner closely with users as well as our product and design teams to improve usability based on customer feedback

• Implement new features in the frontend application as our machine learning and datasets continuously improve

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Software Engineering or similar

• 2+ years front-end programming

• Experience with TypeScript and/or JavaScript

• High technical bar and understanding of good coding practices

Nice to haves

• ReactJS

• Experience building Chrome Extensions

• Experience building on top of healthcare data (FHIR HL7 EDI)

• Any backend experience with Python

Compensation

• Based on market data and other factors the salary range for this position is $135000-$175000 + Equity. However a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
