Frontend Engineer (Ukraine-based)

We are a growing frontend team with a vision to build the leading application in the Working Capital & Accounts Payable field, offering a user interface that is intuitive, high-performing, and visually captivating. What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with product and design teams to build new user-facing functionality.
• Work closely with the backend team to integrate and design the internal GraphQL API.
• Implement scalable, flexible, and high-performance user interfaces, ranging from simple forms to complex tables with inline editing.
• Contribute to our React component library implementing Settle’s Design System.
• Participate in initiatives to improve our frontend platform, enhancing development efficiency and optimizing engineering processes, tools, and systems to support codebase scalability and team productivity.
• Write clean, maintainable code and leave the codebase better than you found it.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system reliability and responsiveness.

What You’ll Need:

• 2+ years of experience as a front-end engineer.
• English: upper-intermediate or higher.
• Strong proficiency in CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Familiarity with our tech stack and a passion for learning new tools and frameworks.
• Ability to translate business and product ideas into effective engineering solutions.
• A growth mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A strong focus on delivering an exceptional user experience, with keen attention to detail.
• Experience with test-driven development.

• Exposure to backend technologies and a willingness to contribute to backend development when needed.

Compensation:

The monthly starting salary range is between $5,300-$6,500 USD
