Position Overview: As a Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll work closely with the founder and leadership team to bring projects from concept to deployment. You’ll be instrumental in developing internal tools, customer/vendor integrations, and scalable applications that drive operational efficiency and data integrity. Key Responsibilities: · Application Development: Build scalable back-end logic and aesthetic front-end interfaces using modern technologies. · Data Management: Design and manage SQL databases, ETL processes, and ensure data accuracy and verification. · API Integrations: Develop integrations with customers and vendors to enhance visibility and speed to market. · System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain servers and automated processes; troubleshoot and resolve issues. · Operational Tools: Create internal applications focused on route planning, cost reduction, and operational accuracy. · Reporting & Auditing: Present data insights for QBRs, vendors, and customers. · Project Ownership: Manage priorities, timelines, and deliverables with accountability and efficiency. Experience & Education: Required: • Minimum 5+ years of coding experience. • High school diploma required; degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Technical Skills • Proficiency in one or more of the following: Python, C++, Rust, CUDA, Triton. • Strong front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). • Experience with SQL and data transformation processes. • Familiarity with server management and deployment. • Exceptional prompt engineering and rapid prototyping ability. Soft Skills · Clear and professional communication with internal teams and external partners. · Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset. · Ability to balance big-picture thinking with granular execution. If so, those tasks can usually be handled from home as needed. We strive to minimize off-hour disruptions, but the freight world can be unpredictable! Location Our office is located in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. Candidates should be able to commute to the office daily.
