AutoFluent, part of Fullsteam, provides on-premises and cloud-based shop-management software to automotive repair businesses and tire dealers/wholesalers.

The individual to be the 2nd developer of a small team of a 2-product business unit with diverse technologies. Legacy point-of-sale product is a desktop WinForm based on VB6 & VB.Net, MySQL and IIS. The newer infrastructure and web-based SAAS product is based on .NET 8, Angular 14, T-SQL and hosted in Azure. Role includes debugging POS Reports and conversion of 3rd party databases or automating thereof. Time and focus on the Desktop WinForm product will diminish as we enhance web-based product. Initially, Desktop product will be the first item to maintain and gain ownership of.

The ideal candidate would know .NET 8 Web API / C#(Back), Angular(Front), have strong SQL skills and have exposure to WinForms / VB.Net / VB6. Ideally, the candidate would know current .NET 8 Web API / C#, SQL, Angular Front End and have a strong ability to learn remaining legacy technologies as needed. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Fix Bugs and Patch Legacy Desktop WinForms Product.

• Expand Features and assist maintaining of newer .NET / Angular SAAS.

• Port Legacy Infrastructure to newer .NET as needed.

• Perform and ideally automate data conversions of 3rd Party databases to our product.

• Maintain existing Active Reports for POS.
   

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 years’ experience in .NET with Wep API.

• Strong SQL / mySQL skills.

• Ability to learn VB.Net and VB6 and demonstrate functional proficiency in short order.

• Experience with Cloud development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Front End development experience - Angular strongly preferred.

• Experience with RxJS strongly preferred.

This position is 100% remote. The candidate would need to have a suitable work environment set up as their home office and be comfortable managing their own schedule in a non-corporate office environment.
