The Global Asset Recovery Service (GARS) entity of IBM infrastructure is within IBM the channel responsible for development coordination authorization and execution of all secondary channel sales and wholesale broker activity focusing on circularity (how to minimize landfilling and maximize IT product resale and reutilization).
The Global Asset Recovery Sales (GARS) Product Analyst is a key liaison between GARS sellers GARS product manager Quote to Cash and the manufacturing/refurbishment centers in the US and in Germany.
- Maintain good overall collaboration with other departments (Quote to Cash AR AP Global Logistics legal and tax)
- Develop and reinforce a good management system of all external sales activities focusing on local broker sales out of EMEA
- Keep an overall strong control posture (detect and avoid fraud ensure systematic compliance with environmental tax and import / export rules)
- Act as an SME regarding GARS operations within the team (on all activities tied to external sales) including transport
- Focus on business simplification and business transformation
- Support the GARS transformation and operations lead and the OEM Product Manager
- Act as escalation point for brokers (mainly ATEA)
- Coordinate local broker sales (ad hoc) and the ARAD
- Track execution with Q2C and drive process improvement focusing on continuous improvemen
Required education and experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- English: Advanced
- 3 to 5 years relevant work experience
Required skills
· SAP knowledge is a plus good knowledge of excel
