General Construction Worker

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Duties • Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, and concrete work. • Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials. • Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris and ensuring tools are stored properly. • Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications. Skills • Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds). • Familiarity with construction tools and equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. • Basic understanding of construction safety practices. • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. • Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning new skills. • Previous experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
